Cover Your Bass store policies explain our shipping returns,
refunds and payment methods when purchasing products.
STORE POLICIES:
ACCEPTED METHOD OF PAYMENT:
We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. We also accept money
orders.
SHIPPING: We currently ship to US and Canada. There is an
additional charge to ship to Alaska or Hawaii.
SHIPPING TIME: The time needed to ship merchandise will
vary depending on the shipment's location and the particular
time of year. Customer should expect 7-10 day delivery time.
SHIPPING METHODS: Merchandise will be shipped using Ground
Service where possible.
DAMAGED SHIPMENTS: Damaged shipment from handling must be
claimed with the freight carrier. If any cartons
are missing or damaged, be sure to note this on the freight
bill. If you notice concealed damage after the driver
has left, keep all the packing and call the freight carrier
to return and inspect the damage and file a claim. We are not
responsible for damage cause by freight carrier.
MANUFACTURER'S DEFECTS: Returns are allowed within 14 days
for an exchange for a similar item, due to faulty material or
workmanship. Exchanges are not allowed for damages due to normal
wear, abuse, misuse, neglect, alterations, wind damage, fire
or damage resulting from boat cover not having been securely
fastened down nor
from improper installation. If a product appears to have a manufactures
defect, you must receive a return authorization number. No packages
will be accepted without a return authorization number written
clearly on
the package.
RETURN MERCHANDISE POLICY: Permission for any returned merchandise
must be secured from our return department. You have 14 days
from the ship date to receive refunds. You must e-mail
the refund request or call us at 972-849-4868,
at which time the return authorization number with return instructions
will be sent to you. No packages will be accepted without a
return authorization number written clearly on the package.
Products being returned must have a return number issued before
returning. COD returns will be refused.
Cover Your Bass Inc., reserves the right to refuse merchandise
returned in a damaged or obviously used
condition.
TITLE: If shipment of products is to Purchaser by a common
carrier selected by Seller, delivered by Seller to the carrier
at point of origin, or pick up by the carrier at Seller's facility,
shall constitute delivery to the Purchaser and thereafter the
shipment shall be at Purchaser?s risk. Claims for loss or damage
must be filed by the Purchaser against the common carrier.
WE CAN REFUND SHIPPING COSTS ONLY IF THE RETURN IS A RESULT
OF OUR ERROR. Only new, unopened merchandise may be returned.
All unused merchandise in its original condition may be returned
for a refund within 14 days for a refund. You are responsible
for all freight charges, plus a 20% restocking fee on shipments
that are refused or returned with no fault on our part. We are
not responsible for incidental or consequential damages or losses
due to defective products, errors in shipping your order or
other errors. The limit of our liability is the replacement
cost of any item you purchase from us.
RETURN GOODS PROCEDURE:
All returns must be AUTHORIZED IN ADVANCE by Cover Your
Bass.
1. Return authorization must be obtained.
2. All shipments must be sent freight prepaid.
3. Return Authorization number must be written clearly on all
cartons.
4. Return the item to the address given to you by our return
department.
5. Keep your shipping records for proof of shipment in the event
of loss of the return merchandise. Merchandise being returned
should be insured. We are not liable for return merchandise
that is lost in transit.
6. Only those items authorized will be processed for credit.
7. We will only notify you via phone, mail, or e-mail of your
refund credit once we have received and processed the return.
You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally
used for purchase within 14-21 business days of our receiving
your return. Please note that we can credit shipping cost only
if the return is a result of our error.
8. You will ship the item back within 3 days of acknowledgement.
Over night, two day, and express saver (three day) options are
also available for additional charge. For shipments to Alaska
and Hawaii, additional shipping charges will apply. We cannot
quote additional shipping costs without
first processing your order. Your order will be placed on hold
in order to contact you by e-mail, fax, or phone to confirm
your shipping options and costs. We must have your valid credit
card information to prepare your quote.
ADDRESS CORRECTION CHARGES: Incorrect shipping address per
the following examples; wrong house #,
wrong zip, missing apartment #, etc., will incur a $5.00 charge
for ground packages and a $10.00 charge for air packages if
correction is made after package has shipped. Please double
check your shipping address for
accuracy.
Texas
residence will be charged 8.25% sales tax.
CANCELING
AN ORDER: If you wish to cancel your order prior to delivery,
please contact us immediately by
e-mail or call us at 972-849-4868. Orders will be canceled
if items have not been shipped. If items have been shipped,
you must refuse delivery or follow our standard return procedures.
TRACKING YOUR ORDER: Please provide an e-mail address
with each order. This will enable us to provide you the information
necessary to track your order.
